Since that time and to now, QCC has provided project specific QA, contractual and construction advice including mentoring and staff training, QA manual and procedures development, and the execution of construction compliance and forensic audits for Major Projects Victoria, Department of Justice Victoria and Alfred Health.
Some of the larger projects serviced by QCC for its clients include the 2009- 2010 Building Education Revolution (BER) attending to over fifty schools; the National Gallery of Victoria refurbishment, the new County Court of Victoria and the Alfred Hospital (MacFarlane Burnett Institute) addition.
In 2009, David was invited to speak, at the fib 2009 International Symposium London UK, by fib's scientific committee to present his peer reviewed paper entitled Quality Control - Striving for the Verifiable Result.
The Paper demonstrated how the application of quality control techniques can effectively limit project litigation; dramatically improve a project's quality outcome while saving the project owner considerable costs. The Paper was well received by the UK and EU government representatives and grudgingly acknowledged by others.
